Chassis-Dynamometer

The chassis dynamometer is used for measuring the power output of a powertrain (integrated in the vehicle) ot for investigations of vehicles with respect to driving cycles (e.g. WLTP). The advantage is, that the powertrain is integrated into the vehicle, thus, the measument can be started quickly with short setup time. For cooling the wind channel is used. The rollers are joined with an asynchronous motor, which is used for the investigation of braking (incl. rekuperation) and acceleration. For cyle or endurance tests the automatic driving robot P-James (pneumatic driven) is available.
