With the weight of the drop tower small and medium components can be loaded, usually not reversible. The drop height is up to 5 m. The drop weight (up to 50 kg) is guided, immidiately before the impact it is disconnected from the guidance.

Battery Test
In this project whole batteries as well as their components are tested using different weights. The goal of this investigations was to establish crash models for batteries.
Battery Test
In this example one test for a battery in the drop tower is shown.
Wheel test
In this test wheels are loaded (nearly reversible) in the drop tower. The pressure inside the tire is measured.
