Different test rigs are available to examine the static and dynamic properties of tires. Some of the test rigs are used to build tire models (e.g. FTire models).
External Drum Test Rig
This test rig is used to investigate the dynamic tire properties (right side) and as an independent suspension test rig (left side; see below).
Independent Suspension Test Rig
This test stand is used to investigate independent wheel suspensions under highly dynamic loads
