A test bench for the electrical power supply in aircraft is built and operated at the chair of Electrical Power Systems. Present and future voltage levels in aircraft can be implemented. Power management systems, grid feedback tests and network stability tests can be performed at the test bench. The dynamic behavior of electrical sources, as well as the dynamic load characteristics can be simulated. The overall performance is 50 kW and corresponds to one feeder in the power supply of an aircraft.
