For the demonstration and testing of load management algorithms in aircraft, the chair of Electrical Power Systems has developed a demonstrator for load management systems. This is fully integrated in a 19-inch rack and includes the power supply, the switchgears, the transducers and control hardware.
By means of an application for iPad, which the chair of Electrical Power Systems has developed, the load management is monitored. A flexible hardware architecture with a MATLAB/SIMULINK interface make it possible to develop and implement new algorithms.
