2024 Research Symposium Series
Following the successful series of online symposia in 2023, a Research Symposium Series also took place in 2024. This year’s series, titled “Spaces and Times of Transitions—Recalibrating the Multiple Scales of Change in Adult Education,” focused on transitions: RSS 2024 Program
Since January 2024, there have been over 150 registrations for the Research Symposium Series. Nine speakers from Germany, Ireland, South Africa, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom have presented on the connection between transitions and concepts such as liminality, life course, transgression, professional development, virtualization, and hybridity.

The network was founded in January 2023
In January 2023, the network *Spaces, Times, and the Rhythms of the Education of Adults and its Movements* (S.T.R.E.A.M.) was established within the European Society for Research on the Education of Adults (ESREA). The ESREA Executive Committee confirmed the network’s establishment at its meeting on January 30 and 31, 2023, in Verona, Italy.
The founding members of the network are:
