Dr.–Ing. Niels Demke works as a group leader at the Professorship for Machine Elements and Computer Aided Product Design. Dr. Demke’s research deals with the derivation and communication of design intentions in order to support interdisciplinary collaboration in the early phase of the design process. His research focuses on ambiguous situations, for example in complex development projects in the automotive industry and in the development of sustainable products in distributed development networks.
