Newly founded research group “Effective Risk Communication (ERika)”
The research group ERika, which is headed by Profes. Dres. Felfe, Jacobsen, Nestoriuc, Paetzel and Traub (HSU/UniBw H), cooperates with the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in order to contribute to the scientific foundations of risk communication from the perspectives of behavioral economics and psychology. The focus of ERika is on the cost of (avoided) crises in terms of health and quality of life in health-related consumer protection.
