Short biography: Master’s degree in sociology (1999 – 2004) at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Thorn (Poland). Diploma in Social Economics at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics (2002 – 2004). Master’s degree programmes: Human Resource Management (2005 – 2008) and Master of Higher Education (2018 – 2021) at the University of Hamburg. Research assistant at the Department of Social Economics at the University of Hamburg, Chair of Business Administration, esp. Human Resources (Prof. Dr. Florian Schramm) (2008-2019). Participation in research projects at the University of Hamburg (2006 – 2022) including: labour law in operational application, micropolitics in organizations, participation through crowdworking. Doctorate as Dr. rer. pole. at the University of Hamburg (2017). Topic of the thesis: “Career patterns of German executives. Analysis of sequence patterns, causes and effects on the basis of data from the Socio-Economic Panel” (first reviewer: Prof. Dr. Florian Schramm, second reviewer: Prof. Dr. Daniela Rastetter).

Since 2022 postdoctoral researcher at the IPA – Institute for Employment Relations and Labour at the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg.

Research focus: career and employment trajectories, organizational forms of work, social inequality, gender equality policy, managing diversity
