With our wide range of programmes for service and university sports, which are based on the Central Regulation for Physical Fitness (KLF) and the Hamburger Hochschulgesetz, we support the more than 2,200 student officers in their sports training and, based on this, in their military fitness training.
The sports centre also carries out the Basic Fitness Test (BFT) and helps students prepare for the German Sports Badge (DAS) of the German Olympic Sports Committee. Our core tasks also include supporting the student body at the German University Championships organised by the adh and training and further training to become an exercise instructor for the German Armed Forces.
Our overriding aim is to contribute to the positive public image of HSU/UniBw H and to connect our entire university community through sport.
This is why we also enable our almost 1,200 employees to become active through the company health management programme (BGM), to create a balance and to dedicate themselves to health sports.
By coordinating the allocation of sports facilities, the procurement, repair and maintenance of sports equipment and plans for the building maintenance of sports facilities, we are making a lasting contribution as a central organisation.
Our sports centre team includes two sports instructors, a hall/equipment manager, two sold. student assistants and the manager. We work directly with our colleagues in the swimming pool hall and the BGM officer.
