The 1st Stuttgart Research Software Day took place on March 2, 2026, at the University of Stuttgart. Our contribution was a poster titled “xbat–An easy-to-use and universally applicable benchmarking automation tool for HPC software within the project hpc.bw (dtec.bw)”.
This event was followed by the deRSE26 conference, held from March 3 to 5, 2026. The slides of our talk, “Easy, collaborative benchmarking with the extended benchmarking automation tool xbat”, are available here. At the end of the conference, we attended a guided tour of the HLRS (High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart), where we saw their first supercomputer, a Cray-2, as well as their current flagship supercomputer, Hunter.
