My research interests are mainly climate and climate change. Originating from the field of climate geography, I combine spatial tools with economic methods to study climate extreme events and natural disasters.

Academic education:

• 2009: Bachelor of Science in Human Geographie at the Philipps University Marburg:

• 2016: Master of Science in Climate and Environmental Studies (Physical Geography) at the University Augsburg:

  Methods: Extreme Value Theory, statistical software R
• since March 2017: Research Assistant at the Helmut Schmidt University:
  Focus: Extreme events, natural disasters and their effects on society and economy with consideration of spatial attributes
  Methods: GIS, statistics (econometrics)
