Martha Forson completed her Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Ghana and conducted her master’s thesis research at ETH Zurich. In May 2026, she joined the group of Construction Materials and Building Preservation at Helmut Schmidt University as a Research Assistant.
Her current research focuses on corrosion in sustainable binder systems, particularly the corrosion behavior of steel reinforcement in concrete containing alternative and low-carbon cementitious materials. Her work aims to support the development of durable and sustainable construction materials.
