Personal details
Fabian is a Seismologist and holds a master’s degree in Geophysics from the University of Hamburg. In his master’s thesis he localized seismic waves generated by ocean water waves (so-called microseismic noise) and investigated its wavefield composition. Fabian joined the group of Constriction Materials and Building Preservation in 2020 and is currently conducting numerical simulations of non-destructive testing methods in order to investigate their reliability. His research insterests include non-destructive testing, numerical simulations, elastic waves and artificial intelligence. More about Fabian’s work in normPOD
