📅 Wednesday, 9 July 2025 | ⏰ 19:00 – 20:30
📍 Online via Zoom
Speaker: Dr. Annett Gräfe‑Geusch (Postdoc, German Centre for Integration and Migration Research – DeZIM)
Overview:
How can democratic recognition, participation, and representation be achieved for all in a post-migrant society? Join us as part of the series “Exhausted Democracy? Paths Out of the Crisis of Trust”, where we tackle pressing questions about the condition and future of democracy.
In post-migrant democracies, consensus and conflict coexist in navigating diversity. Organizations face the dual challenge of meeting societal expectations while negotiating internal equity issues related to diversity. Drawing on recent data from DeZIM’s “Diversity and Anti‑Discrimination” cluster—focusing on federal administration and the German foundation sector—Dr. Gräfe‑Geusch will explore key tensions, challenges, and opportunities for fostering equitable participation and recognition for all social groups
