16:00-17:00: Scientific Talk by Ruben Horn (HSU/UniBw H): GreenHPC: An overview and practical guide
Demand for HPC is growing across scientific fields, leading to growing energy demand. To minimize ecological impact of their work, and since it is not unlikely that future systems will implement billing based on energy consumption, users should be aware of and aiming to improve the energy efficiency.
In this talk, we give a general introduction to GreenHPC and GreenIT more broadly and present steps users can take on HSUper and other clusters to improve energy efficiency. Furthermore, we include some concrete examples from previous and outlook towards future work on making HPC more sustainable.

17:00-18:00: HPC Café with Sebastian Eilermann (HSU/UniBw H) as an Expert for AI/ML on HSUper and ISCC
