The Association of Friends and Patrons of the Helmut Schmidt University/University of the German Armed Forces Hamburg e. V. is the sponsoring company of HSU. The company has set itself the goal of supporting the scientific work of the university, especially young scientists. Several hundred members, including a number of companies and institutions, are working to achieve this goal and serve the economic and social function of the university.
