We are delighted to welcome you as an international researcher. Whether you are coming to the university as a visiting fellow for a limited period or will be working here as an international employee, we extend a warm welcome to you.

The Welcome Office team is always available to assist you as a visiting fellow in order to make the preparations for your stay at HSU/UniBw H and your subsequent stay as pleasant and productive as possible. Our focus is on providing referral advice in the spirit of ‘helping people to help themselves’.
Are you coming to HSU/UniBw H as an international employee or as part of the ‘Hanseatic Visiting Professorship’ programme? If so, the staff in the Human Resources department will provide you with excellent preparation and support. Your employment will be based on an employment contract – before signing the employment contract and starting your job, you will receive a letter of appointment from the Human Resources Department or an invitation from the President to the ‘Hanseatic Visiting Professorship’.
