Matthew D. Stephen
Lebenslauf
Matthew Stephen ist seit 2024 Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Politikwissenschaft, insbesondere Internationale Politische Ökonomie, an der HSU. Vor seiner Ernennung zum Professor arbeitete Matthew Stephen als Senior Researcher in der Forschungseinheit Global Governance am WZB Berlin Social Science Center (2013-2024). Außerdem war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am DFG-geförderten Forschungszentrum (KFG) „International Rule of Law“ (2016), Interims-Professor an der HSU (2018-2019, 2021-2022) und Senior Research Fellow am German Institute for Global and Area Studies (2018-2019).
Matthew Stephen absolvierte seinen Bachelor (2003-2006) und Master (2007-2008) in Politikwissenschaften an der University of Otago in Neuseeland. Seine Promotion schloss er 2013 an der Freien Universität Berlin mit summa cum laude ab.
