habil.<\/abbr> Markus G\u00f6bel is Professor and Chair of Business Administration, in particular Theory of Entrepreneurship and Methods of Business Research, at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. His main topics are reciprocity in management research and practice, change management and new public management, consulting and corporate sustainability as well as corporate venture capital and knowledge management. He gained teaching and leadership experience as academic director (vice dean) of the Hamburg location of the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, as professor of business administration at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and as representative of the professorship for public economics at the University of Hamburg. Furthermore, he accompanied the change management process of the city of Mainz as an in-house consultant to the Lord Mayor and worked as a consultant for New Public Management at KGSt-Consult in Cologne.<\/p>\n\n\n\nHe completed his studies in economics at the University of Wuppertal and subsequently earned his doctorate in New Public Management at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. He completed his habilitation at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences with a thesis on interactive corporate management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
