Student Body Regiment<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Military home of the students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The student officers and officer candidates (StudOffz\/OA) as well as the military and civilian regular personnel are organizationally combined in the student body regiment (StudBer).
It is headed by the commander student body regiment (LtrStudBer) with the rank of colonel\/captain at sea (A16) and is divided into three battalions (StudFBer) and the headquarters group (comparable to a regiment).
The StudBer is the military department at HSU<\/abbr>\/UniBw Hamburg and the military home of the StudOffz\/OA during the period of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Student Body Regiment mission is to provide troop and disciplinary leadership to the StudOffz\/OA. This means in particular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Support the StudOffz\/OA in collaboration with Academic Affairs to achieve the Master’s degree within the standard period of study,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • to consolidate the professional self-image of the StudOffz\/OA as well as to further develop the personality of the future, military leader in cooperation with all stakeholders HSU<\/abbr>\/UniBw Hamburg,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • to contribute, in cooperation with the military organizational units (MilOrgBer), to the retention of the StudOffz\/OA in the Bundeswehr; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain basic individual, military, and physical skills and abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Working together for the Bundeswehr<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The course of study is the longest training period in an officer’s career and thus offers a variety of starting points for shaping the StudOffz\/OA to a particular degree and binding them to the Bundeswehr.
    We see ourselves not only as a military home, but also as a bridge builder between the academic and military obligations of the StudOffz\/OA.
    Only through the joint efforts of the academic and military sectors is it possible to provide the German Armed Forces with academically educated officers as military leaders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
