Privatdozentin Dr.<\/abbr> Olga Klimecki ist Neurowissenschaftlerin und Psychologin. Derzeit ist sie kommissarische Lehrstuhlinhaberin f\u00fcr Sozialpsychologie an der Universit\u00e4t der Bundeswehr in Deutschland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie promovierte an der Universit\u00e4t Z\u00fcrich, Schweiz, im Fachbereich Philosophie (Dr.<\/abbr> phil., summa cum laude) und habilitierte sich im Fachbereich Naturwissenschaften (Dr.<\/abbr> rer.<\/abbr> nat. habil.<\/abbr>) an der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Dresden, Deutschland. An letzterer war sie in den Jahren 2020 und 2021 als Gastprofessorin f\u00fcr Psychologie sowie in den Jahren 2024 und 2025 als kommissarische Professorin f\u00fcr Biologische Psychologie t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ihr Forschungsinteresse gilt der F\u00f6rderung von psychischer und physischer Gesundheit sowie der Verbesserung interpersonaler und intergruppaler Beziehungen \u00fcber die gesamte Lebensspanne hinweg. Konkret untersucht Olga Klimecki gemeinsam mit ihrem Team in randomisiert-kontrollierten Studien die kausalen Effekte von Verhaltens-, Kognitions- und Emotionsinterventionen. Ein weiterer Fokus ihrer Forschung liegt auf den bio-psycho-sozialen Wirkmechanismen, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Hirnfunktionen und -konnektivit\u00e4t, Emotionen sowie zwischenmenschliches und intergruppales Verhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olga Klimecki ist (Ko-)Autorin von \u00fcber 80 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen. F\u00fcr ihre Arbeiten zur neuronalen Plastizit\u00e4t und Konfliktl\u00f6sung wurde sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit dem Early Career Award der Society for Social Neuroscience in Washington D.C., einem Marie-Curie-Stipendium sowie einem Horizon2020-Forschungsgrant der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als Ko-Sprecherin der bislang l\u00e4ngsten Meditationsstudie \u2013 der Medit-Ageing \/ Silver-Health-Studie \u2013 verantwortete sie ein von der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission mit insgesamt 7 Millionen Euro gef\u00f6rdertes Projekt. Seit 2013 leitet sie Forschungsprojekte zur Konfliktl\u00f6sung in verschiedenen L\u00e4ndern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ihre wissenschaftliche Arbeit findet breite Resonanz in nationalen und internationalen Medien, darunter arte, BBC, Die Zeit<\/em>, Der Spiegel<\/em>, The Independent<\/em>, RTS und ZDF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
