From 2015 to 2020 he has been a Scientific Advisory Council for the EU-funded Horizon 2020 Project \u201cCommunity Based Policing and Post-Conflict-Police Reform\u201d (ICT4COP). Since 2017 he is a Vetted Expert for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) \u2013 Regional Service for Africa (RSCA) Governance and Peacebuilding Experts Roster, and since 2021 he is a Member of the Security Sector Reform (SSR) Advisory Network to the United Nations.
