The project examines current practice in the use of video counselling within family and parenting support services. Through a nationwide online survey, expert interviews and participant observation, the project explores how this relatively new form of counselling is perceived and implemented by professionals and service users. MEAPP Project „Multilingualism and mediation of flexible assistance. Possibilities and limits of digital support for informal caregivers in the area of participation and inclusion through digital platform\/apps“ (08\/2022 \u2013 04\/2026)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project „Multilingualism and mediation of flexible assistance. Possibilities and limits of digital support for informal caregivers in the area of participation and inclusion through digital platform\/apps“ (in short: MEAPP) is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF<\/abbr>). The objective of MEAPP is to develop a concept for the design of technology aimed at creating an inclusive and multilingual information, exchange and advice platform, and providing organizational and everyday assistance for informal caregivers and people with dis_abilities. The platform\u2019s function and design are oriented towards their needs and, in line with our co-design approach, the intended users participate in the research and development from the very beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project runs in cooperation with Thomas Oeben, Helferportal GmbH<\/abbr> & Co KG<\/abbr> and Susanne Grebe-Deppe, Pro Inklusion e.V.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

The project examines the demands and obstacles of digitization in social enterprises from the field of family and life assistance, which lack know-how and funds for basic hardware equipment, support for the operation of hardware and software and overall concepts for digitization as an overarching organizational goal. LFF Sub-project \u201cTechnicization of Care Arrangements\u201d in the Hamburg Research Group \u201cCare Transformations\u201d (09\/2021 – 01\/2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the research group „Care Transformations. Interdisciplinary Research on Care Work\u201d, joint research on the changes in paid and unpaid care work and their institutional, cultural, economic, ecological and technological contexts is conducted across various disciplines, including sociology, economics, business administration, geography, social work and law. g Participating universities include the University of Hamburg (UHH), Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) and Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg (HSU<\/abbr>). The research group was awarded three years funding for the period of 1.9.2020-31.08.2023 by the state of Hamburg (Landesforschungsf\u00f6rderung Hamburg). The HSU<\/abbr> contributes with a sub-project entitled \u201cThe technicization of care arrangements: The Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) paradigm and new a-symmetries of human-technology interaction\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
