Gaitanides das <em>Institut f\u00fcr Logistik und Organisation<\/em>. Er hatte bis 2008 den Lehrstuhl f\u00fcr Betriebswirtschaftslehre,\u00a0<abbr title=\"insbesondere\">insb.<\/abbr>\u00a0Logistik-Management, inne. Neben der Speziellen\u00a0<abbr title=\"Betriebswirtschaftslehre\">BWL<\/abbr>\u00a0Logistik bot er Lehrveranstaltungen zur Allgemeinen Betriebswirtschaftslehre im Grund- und Hauptstudium an. Sein Forschungsinteresse galt der Koordination betrieblicher Aktivit\u00e4ten und Prozesse unter besonderer Ber\u00fccksichtigung unsicherer Rahmenbedingungen.
