In seiner Masterarbeit hat er seismische Wellen, welche von Wasserwellen im Ozean generiert werden (<abbr title=\"sogenannt\">sog.<\/abbr> Meeresmikroseismik) lokalisiert und das Wellenfeld hinsichtlich seiner Zusammensetzung analysiert. Seit 2020 arbeitet Fabian an der Professure f\u00fcr Konstruktionswerkstoffe und Bauwerkserhaltung. In seiner aktuellen Forschung befasst er sich mit der Durchf\u00fchrung numerischer Simulationen um die Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit zerst\u00f6rungsfreier Pr\u00fcfverfahren besser untersuchen zu k\u00f6nnen.
