Hamza Safouane hat im Februar 2018 seine Doktorarbeit in Planning, Governance and Globalization an Virginia Tech (USA) zu „Governing migrants in the European Union: A critical approach to interrogating migrants‘ journey narratives“ erfolgreich verteidigt. Im Mai 2018 erhielt er den „Richard E. Zody Award for Outstanding Dissertation.“ Er ist seit Juli 2017 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Helmut-Schmidt-Universit\u00e4t Hamburg. Er studierte Sozial- und Politikwissenschaft an Virginia Tech und \u00d6konomie und Internationale Beziehungen an der Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs – Syracuse University (USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
