Lebenslauf<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Christian Opitz ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Projekt \u201eRecasting the role of citizens in foreign and security policy<\/a>?\u201c, finanziert von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Seit Juli 2018 am Institut f\u00fcr Internationale Politik der HSU<\/abbr> Hamburg war er zuvor t\u00e4tig f\u00fcr das Projekt \u201eB\u00fcrgerbeteiligung in der Au\u00dfen- und Sicherheitspolitik<\/a>\u201c sowie f\u00fcr das DFG-Projekt \u201eOverlapping Spheres of Authority\u201c.<\/p>\n

Berufsbegleitend promovierte Christian Opitz an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universit\u00e4t Jena zum Thema \u201eZwischen Formalit\u00e4t und Informalit\u00e4t: Strukturelle Einflussbedingungen in einer internationalen Organisation am Beispiel des zivilen Krisenmanagements der Europ\u00e4ischen Union\u201c (Betreuer: Prof.<\/abbr> Dr.<\/abbr> Rafael Biermann). Seine Dissertation erhielt den Dissertationspreis 2020<\/a> der Friedrich-Schiller-Universit\u00e4t und wurde au\u00dferdem als beste Dissertation<\/a> des Instituts f\u00fcr Politikwissenschaft ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n

Christian Opitz studierte Politikwissenschaft an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universit\u00e4t Freiburg (2005-2008) bevor er seinen Master in Peace and Conflict Studies an der Uppsala Universit\u00e4t absolvierte (2009-2011). Daran schlossen sich erste berufliche Stationen im In- und Ausland, u.a.<\/abbr> am Zentrum f\u00fcr Internationale Friedenseins\u00e4tze (ZIF), im Ausw\u00e4rtigen Amt und an der Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP).<\/p>\n
