After a post-doc at the POLIS department of the University of Cambridge with a fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG), Hanna Pfeifer rejoined the Institute of International Politics of Helmut Schmidt University (<abbr title=\"Helmut Schmidt Universit\u00e4t\">HSU<\/abbr>) as a research associate and teaching fellow in 2018.\u00a0 She earnt her PhD (summa cum laude) from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of <abbr title=\"Helmut Schmidt Universit\u00e4t\">HSU<\/abbr> in 2017. Before coming to Hamburg, she worked as a research associate at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Magdeburg (2012-2016) and in the research and teaching project &#8222;Global Solidarity&#8220; at the Munich School of Philosophy (2011-2012). She studied Politics, Philosophy and Mathematics at the University of Munich (Ludwig Maximilians University, 2006-2012) and International Relations and Security at Sciences Po (IEP) Paris (2009-2010).
