The notion of corporate actor appeals to (a) the sociological and political analysis of organizations, (b) the concept of the legal person\u2019s rights to make decisions and take action, (c) the normative problem of whether establishments should be seen as ends from a welfare-economic perspective or merely as means of individual actors, and (d) the methodological need to differentiate between the unit of analysis and the survey unit.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752307\" rel='nofollow'>Microfoundation(s) of organizational behaviour\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752317\" rel='nofollow'>Unit of analysis<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752329\" rel='nofollow'>The firm and the law<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752339\" rel='nofollow'>Corporate responsibility<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752349\" rel='nofollow'>The borders of the firm<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sga.uni-hamburg.de\/events\/corporate-actor\/program.html#15752359\" rel='nofollow'>Standards of good work and institutionalized labour relations<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Answers to all these questions also have to be considered under the current conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is scheduled for<strong> April 29-30, 2021<\/strong> at Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg. Despite the Covid-19 situation, we are confident that the event can take place next year.
