Following on prior stocktakings of Gertraude Krell on gender and diversity as topics of research and teaching, Barbara Sieben and Daniela Rastetter started a project on management research on gender and diversity (G&amp;D) in German-speaking countries. First, they analysed the uptake of diversity management in mainstream administrative business journals, which they characterized as rather marginal, and above all functionalist in the respective period. Second, they took stock of the publication activities on G&amp;D of the HR and organization sections members of the German Academic Association for Business Research. They found on the one hand quite many chairs (50% out of 294) with publications on G&amp;D; on the other hand, the majority of G&amp;D publications was concentrated on quite a few chairs. Moreover, Sieben and Rastetter (2017) examined the perspectives researchers take in a sample of peer-reviewed articles on gender and other diversity dimensions based on the diversity compass, still detecting a relative lack of critical perspectives. In a next step, they conducted interviews with selected scientists out of the identified \u201cG&amp;D champions\u201d in order to explore interests, resources and power plays in the political arena of G&amp;D research in the German speaking countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Selected contributions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sieben, B., &amp; Rastetter, D.
