Researchers have criticized diversity management and diversity studies to be US-centred, monoculturally infused and biased (e.g., Jonsen et al., 2011; Nishii &amp; Ozbilgin, 2007). In this project, we therefore pay special attention to so far less researched and often marginalized country contexts resulting in two co-edited Special Issues of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, published in 2019 and 2020 as well as the &#8222;Research handbook on new frontiers of equality and diversity at work.
