Ilka Marie Frerichs is a research assistant and lecturer at the Chair of Human Resources Management at Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg, Germany. She studied Economics and Management at the Leibniz University Hannover. She graduated with a master’s degree (Master of Science) in the major International Management. In her doctoral thesis, she examines the paradigm plurality of corporate social responsibility (CSR) research informed by critical management perspectives. She has further expertise in leadership research as well as strategic and international human resource management. Within her research approaches, she is specialized in systematic literature reviews conducted by a mix of bibliometric and content analytical methods. 2020, she published in the German Journal of Human Resource Management. She is ad-hoc reviewer for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal and for the European Academy of Management. Within her teaching activities, she conducts bachelor and master courses on (international) human resource management issues with a special focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion in organizations and on perspectives of human resource management research. Moreover, she collaborates on PhD courses on bibliometric analyses.
