To minimize ecological impact of their work, and since it is not unlikely that future systems will implement billing based on energy consumption, users should be aware of and aiming to improve the energy efficiency.<br>In this talk, we give a general introduction to GreenHPC and GreenIT more broadly and present steps users can take on HSUper and other clusters to improve energy efficiency.
