We have successfully completed the first funding phase of the hpc.bw <\/em>project (dtec.bw) and have achieved countless exciting calculations and results, which were made possible by the CBRZ and its compute platforms HSUper<\/em> and ISCC<\/em>. In relation to this achievement, we will organize a wrap-up meeting, where we will not only present the diverse results and research projects but also showcase the variety of topics and methodological approaches in the broad world of HPC in a wide range of discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invitation<\/u><\/strong>: We cordially invite you to attend the public part of our wrap-up meeting<\/strong> of our 1st<\/sup> founding period from 2021 to 2024 on 3rd<\/sup> March 2025<\/strong>, including a greeting by the HSU<\/abbr> president and giving you the opportunity to gain insight into an overview of hpc.bw<\/em> activities so far. You will find the schedule of the day on our website here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

User Poster<\/u><\/strong>: On this occasion, we cordially invite you to submit a user poster for presentation<\/strong> at our hpc.bw meeting on 3rd<\/sup> March, 2025 from 14:45-15:30. <\/strong>The aim is to share your initial calculations or existing results, <\/strong>that you achieved during the first dtec.bw founding phase using HSUper<\/em> or ISCC<\/em><\/strong>, with other researchers relying on these resources, all at a low-effort level. Feel free to base your contribution on existing poster(s) (e.g. from prior conferences or workshops in your research field). If applicable, please include hpc.bw-specific points: (a)<\/strong> how hpc.bw has supported your research<\/em>, and (b) <\/strong>what you have already achieved by leveraging HPC resources<\/em>, either in general or specifically through HSUper <\/em>and ISCC<\/em>; (c)<\/strong> when you write your qualification (PhD\/Postdoc) within the scope of the hpc.bw projec<\/em>t. Please include respective acknowledgement of hpc.bw\/dtec.bw<\/a> on the poster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user poster should be in size A1<\/strong>. If you would like us to print your poster<\/strong>, please send us your document by 15th<\/sup> February, 2025<\/strong>. In the attached file, you will find a dtec.bw-poster template<\/strong> that you can use for your poster (which is, however, not obligatory!). The related dtec.bw-logo is available in the appendix. We kindly ask you to register by 21th<\/sup> February, 2025<\/strong> via email to orga-hpc-bw@hsu-hh.de<\/strong><\/a> if you would like to attend the poster presentation<\/strong> and the event<\/strong>. Please register with the name of the poster presente<\/strong>r and a title of the poster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
