Attempts by German occupational psychology to distinguish between manual and mental labour during the 1920s and 1930s\u2019 on 13 November 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Agnes Bauer&#8217;s article \u201cReality Made Calibratable: Walther Moede&#8217;s Bimanual Tester, Laboratory Efficiency, and Psychotechnical \u2018Objectivity\u2019 in the Weimar Republic\u201d has been published in the NTM Zeitschrift f\u00fcr Geschichte der Wissenschaften, Technik und Medizin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rededication of the professorship: knowledge history of modern societies. Following approval by university committees, the professorship of Modern Social, Economic and Technological History has been rededicated and will in future be called &#8222;History of Knowledge of Modern Societies&#8220;. This re-designation takes into account the fact that many debates in the history of technology and the history of science overlap in the concept of knowledge and are also open to new questions, for example from the field of environmental history. The professorship thus retains its broad thematic focus and remains a platform for a wide variety of research and teaching topics from the fields of social, economic, and business history, the history of knowledge, science, and technology, or environmental history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Margot Lyautey, a member of our faculty, successfully defended her dissertation on &#8222;Modernization of French Agriculture under German Occupation (1940-1944)&#8220; in a co-tutelle procedure at the University of T\u00fcbingen and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris on Dec. 8, 2022. We warmly congratulate <abbr title=\"Doktor\">Dr.<\/abbr> Lyautey and are proud to have her on the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heinrich Hartmann has written a contribution on the dynamics of the notion of expert:inside and expertise in European agriculture in the handbook &#8222;Living with the Land&#8220; by Dietmar M\u00fcller, Liesbeth van de Grift and Corinna Unger.
