Bis zum 12. Juni fand in Tokyo die OMAE2026 (45th Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering) statt. Dort wurde von <abbr title=\"Professor\">Prof.<\/abbr> Henke eine gemeinsame Arbeit von Philipp Wiesenthal, Britta Bienen von der University auf Western Australia und ihm zu dem Thema \u201eInfluence of pile penetration velocity on soil plugging in cohesive soils\u201c vorgestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zeitgleich fand in Z\u00fcrich vom 08. bis zum 12. Juni die ICPMG (11th International Conference on Physical Modelling in Geotechnics) statt. Auf dieser Konferenz war dieses Institut mit drei Beitr\u00e4gen vertreten. Am Dienstag haben Philipp Wiesenthal zum Thema \u201eExperimental apparatus and instrumentation for a centrifuge study on soil plugging during pile installation in clay\u201d und Maliha Tasnim Tilat zum Thema \u201eOne-Site measurements \u2013 Dynamic analysis of existing pile response induced by driving of adjacent piles\u201d vorgetragen. Am Donnerstag pr\u00e4sentierte Natascha Heim ihre Arbeit \u201cOn the choice of appropriate sieves and diffusor sieves for air pluviation based on sand grain properties\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Direkt im Anschluss fand vom 14.06 bis zum 19.06 die ICSMGE (21st Internation Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering) statt. Auch an dieser Konferenz durften wieder drei Mitglieder des Institutes teilnehmen. Dabei hatte Philipp Wiesenthal eine Pr\u00e4sentation zu dem Thema \u201eImpact of installation method on soil plugging in clays\u201c. Zus\u00e4tzlich hatte Natascha Heim in der Postersession \u00fcber \u201eEvaluating methods for direct determination of contact parameters for DEM-simulations involving sand\u201c vorgetragen. Auch unser ehemaliger Kollege Johannes Beck hatte einen Posterbeitrag zu \u201eInfluence of subsoil geometry interpolation on embankment settlement\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir hatten viel Freude an diesen Konferenzen teilnehmen zu d\u00fcrfen und haben uns dar\u00fcber gefreut alte Bekannte wiederzusehen und neue Kontakte zu kn\u00fcpfen.
