There are a few large manufacturers for the consumer market and an increasing&nbsp;number of small and medium-sized companies that provide individual solutions for specific applications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HSU is working, often in collaboration with industry, to&nbsp;open up&nbsp;new application areas for&nbsp;the&nbsp;UAS technology and to expand existing ones. The potential for innovation lies not only in the area of software but also in&nbsp;hardware.&nbsp;Especially&nbsp;the sensor technology to be used is highly dependent on the intended application.&nbsp;For instance, in&nbsp;indoor applications, in contrast to outdoor applications, no GPS signal is available as a basis for navigation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
