In recent years, the UAS market has grown significantly. There are a few large manufacturers for the consumer market and an increasing number of small and medium-sized companies that provide individual solutions for specific applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HSU is working, often in collaboration with industry, to open up new application areas for the UAS technology and to expand existing ones. The potential for innovation lies not only in the area of software but also in hardware. Especially the sensor technology to be used is highly dependent on the intended application. For instance, in indoor applications, in contrast to outdoor applications, no GPS signal is available as a basis for navigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
