Guaranteed compliance with deterministic latency, functional safety, and cybersecurity is critical for their practical industrial application.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DS2CCP project develops comprehensive communication solutions that enable secure and robust wireless networking of sensors and actuators across all levels of the automation pyramid.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Platform&#8217;s Three Technological Layers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1. Shop-floor level:<\/strong> Robust, high-density sensor-actuator connectivity via the industry-standard <strong>IO-Link Wireless (IEC 61139-3)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2. Edge &amp; Backbone Layer:<\/strong> Transmission of time-sensitive data with guaranteed latencies over a <strong>5G standalone network<\/strong> with integrated <strong>Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3.
