The core competencies of the chair lie in the field of electrical grids, grid operating equipment and grid-connected systems for energy conversion from or to electrical energy. The strategic research areas are stationary and mobile electrical grids, smart energy systems, electromobility charging infrastructures and hydrogen systems for sector coupling, taking into account and applying the latest technologies, methods and concepts such as digitalization, networking, cyber-physical systems and AI methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chair is divided into three research groups: &#8222;Electrical and Multi-Modal Grids&#8220;, &#8222;Electromobility and Charging Infrastructure&#8220;, and &#8222;Hydrogen Facilities in Grid Operation&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsu-hh.de\/ees\/en\/research-projects-2\">interested in research<\/a> ?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
