With her expertise in medical data science, she leads the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsu-hh.de\/dataeng\/en\/research\/current-projects\/hypoglycemia-detection-in-type-1-diabetes\/\">Hypoglycemia detection in type 1 diabetes<\/a> project, among other research projects. Her research focuses on the early detection of hypoglycemia using machine learning methods trained on time series data.
