Johannes Klassen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Vocational and Industrial Education at the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg. He studied Social Sciences, Law and Economics (B.A.) at the University of Erfurt and Political Theory (M.A.) at the Goethe University Frankfurt and the Technical University of Darmstadt. During his studies, he spent an exchange semester at the Universit\u00e9 de Paris-Sorbonne (IV) and worked as an intern at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt and at the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH<\/abbr>. He received a PhD scholarship from the Cluster of Excellence \u201cThe Formation of Normative Orders\u201d and defended his PhD summa cum laude at the Technical University of Darmstadt in February 2023.<\/p>\n

His research focuses on the role of international organizations in vocational education and training, the politics of evaluation in international development, and the global governance of education and development.<\/p>\n\n\n
