Dieses soll herk\u00f6mmliche Stromversorgungen aus Prim\u00e4r- oder wiederaufladbaren Lithiumbatterien ersetzen und ist speziell f\u00fcr AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) mit geringem Stromverbrauch, Unterwasser-Crawler und autonome Sensoren konzipiert. Aufgrund der h\u00f6heren Energiedichte hat ein Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellensystem das Potenzial, herk\u00f6mmliche batteriebasierte L\u00f6sungen zu \u00fcbertreffen. Die h\u00f6here Energiedichte kann nur erreicht werden, wenn der f\u00fcr die Reaktion mit dem Wasserstoff ben\u00f6tigte Sauerstoff aus dem umliegenden Wasser gewonnen und der Wasserstoff in hoher Dichte gespeichert werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck wird ein System entwickelt, das Wasserstoffspeichertanks mit einem entsprechend ausgew\u00e4hlten Metallhydrid f\u00fcr die sichere und volumenoptimierte Speicherung von Wasserstoff verwendet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die wichtigste Neuerung dieses Ansatzes ist jedoch die Entwicklung eines Sauerstoffversorgungssystems, das in seiner Funktion den Kiemen \u00e4hnelt. Dieses k\u00fcnstliche Kiemensystem verwendet Membranen, die die umliegende Wasserphase und die interne Gasphase trennen, sodass Sauerstoff durch die Membran diffundieren und die Gasphase mit Sauerstoff anreichern kann.
