Only upon completion of a whole module, credit and a grade will be given.
A module usually consists of several classes. All courses involved in a specific module have to be taken and passed to receive a grade and credit for the whole module.

Some of our modules run over several trimesters with the final exam being held in the last time period. Students who will only be here for parts of the module may not be able to take it as they will not be able to participate in all parts of the module and as such will not be graded/ receive credit.

In some cases, classes can still be attended for a certificate of attendance.

Here are some examples of modules:

Example 1:

Module “Old History”

Time: 1 Trimester

Consists of:

one lecture (2 weekly hours, no grade, just attendance)

one seminar ( final exam: termpaper)

Students will be graded on the termpaper and receive a pass/fail for the lecture.
